Art Teacher Creativities Studio - 2.0 Boston, MA Job Details Part-time $60 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Referral program Qualifications Student supervision English Teaching arts Bachelor's degree Working with students Elementary school teaching experience Experience working with elementary school students Leadership Specialization in creative arts instruction Full Job Description We are currently seeking an art teacher to teach in Boston, Cambridge, Belmont, and other surrounding suburbs.
Schedule:
1 hour per day, 5 days per week in the afternoons
Responsibilities:
Instruct art classes for children ages 5-10 in schools in Boston & surrounding suburbs Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students. Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals. Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement. Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
Must be able to commit for a 6 month period Must be comfortable instructing 8 children and completing one art project per class
Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience required. Interest / experience in art or passion for art! Excellent communication skills. Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable. Demonstrate patience and leadership skills. Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
High hourly compensation Potential to earn four yearly bonuses
