Art Assistant Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School - 1.0 Franklin, MA Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Student supervision Classroom active supervision Classroom organization for children Student support Entry level Full Job Description The Art Assistants primary responsibility is to support the smooth and successful operation of art classes through direct assistance to the Art Teacher and support of students during art class. This will involve supervising instruction under teacher guidance and maintaining classroom management; supervising and guiding students in the use of appropriate materials and techniques; storing, maintaining and preparing resources; and encouraging and facilitating effective use of the materials and space by students. BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts. As a K-8 school, our mission is to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children by providing students with a classical academic education coupled with sound character development and community service.
