Job Description
Join Us as a Part‑Time Art Teacher (1 day/week) — Montessori School! We're seeking a joyful, creative Art Teacher to lead one day a week, of hands‑on art for our budding artists. If you love helping children explore, create, and express themselves, come make Mondays (or your chosen day) magical! ✅Details
Schedule:
1 day per week (must be flexible)Hours:
classroom day (approx. 8:30 AM-2:30 PM) — can be adjustedLocation:
350 Village St, Millis, MA
Pay:
$25-40/hour (based on experience) ✅You're:
- Energetic, patient, and child-centered
- Excited to teach age-appropriate art projects and process art
- Comfortable encouraging independence and creative problem-solving
- Familiar with Montessori values
- Have a flexible schedule ✅What you'll do:
- Plan and lead hands-on art lessons and open studio time
- Support children's creative exploration and fine motor development
- Set up art materials, manage transitions, and keep a safe, tidy space
