Position Title:
QRMHS Visual Arts Teacher Reports to:

School Principal
Primary Function:
Teach Various Art Classes including Foundations in Art, Creative Expressions, AP Art, Ceramics, Digital Photography, 7th and 8th Grade Art Funded by:

District Budget
Qualifications:
Massachusetts License in Visual Arts (5-12) Classical drawing training A strong aesthetic of the elements and principles of art and design
Responsibilities:
  • Classical drawing training
  • A strong aesthetic of the elements and principles of art and design
  • Use effective instructional strategies to teach all students
  • Plan and delivers the standard-based curriculum
  • Use a variety of assessments to track and report student progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports in a thorough and timely manner
Salary:
