• Part-time We are seeking an experienced Art Teacher to join our team for Summer employment.

You will educate students using our award-winning art curriculum; cultivating creativity and imagination in children and preparing them for future success.

Art Teacher Requirements:

2+ years of experience teaching art to elementary age students (grades K-5) Passion for the visual arts and teaching children Ability to build rapport with students Strong classroom management skills Ability to follow an award-winning teaching system including curriculum implementation and student-centered learning Flexible schedule

Art Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach art classes and camps at Ann Arbor partner school and various Abrakadoodle partner sites using provided curriculum and materials Prepare project samples for each lesson using provided art materials and curriculum Maintain positive relationships with students and parents Maintain the health and safety of all students
