Art Teacher Requirements:

2+ years of experience teaching art to elementary age students (grades K-5) Passion for the visual arts and teaching children Ability to build rapport with students Strong classroom management skills Experience recruiting students and increasing class enrollment Ability to follow an award-winning franchise system including curriculum implementation and student centered learning Flexible schedule

Art Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach art classes and camps at our Art Studio for Kids in Canton (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media) using provided curriculum and materials Additional teaching responsibilities would include: Spring/Summer camps at various partner sites; Birthday Parties, Special Events and Field Trip assistance at our Art Studio for Kids in Canton Prepare project samples for each lesson using provided art materials and curriculum Maintain positive relationships with students and parents Maintain the health and safety of all students
