Position Summary:
Long-term sub applicant will serve as a student-centered educator who is a learner and warm demander for all learners. The teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues, families, and students. Teacher will understand and model best instructional practices, serve as a member of a Professional Learning Community, and ensure high levels of student learning. Candidate must have a learner, inclusionary, and equity-focused mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid MN Art Teaching license.
  • Student-Centered
  • Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels.
  • Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results.

Based on candidate's education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement. Benefits offered for this position are as listed __
Teaching Long Term Substitute:
Eligible for Health and Dental Insurance (single or family) after 12 weeks of uninterrupted service as a long-term substitute for the same teacher or for any other professional covered by the OEA Master Agreement. Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST)/ Sick Leave
