Position Overview As an Art Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' academic and personal growth while fostering a learning environment aligned with the school's Islamic principles. The ideal candidates will bring subject matter expertise, a commitment to excellence, and a collaborative spirit to their teaching practice. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in the designated subject area. Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards and the school's mission. Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and academic success. Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments. Incorporate Islamic values and ethics into the teaching and learning experience. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student performance and development. Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's growth and improvement initiatives. Support extracurricular activities and school events as needed. Qualifications Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in Education or the designated subject area (required). State teaching certification, held or in progress (required). Experience Prior teaching experience in a secondary school setting (preferred). Strong knowledge of subject-specific content and pedagogy. Skills & Attributes Commitment to integrating Islamic values into the curriculum and classroom environment. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Enthusiasm for fostering students' intellectual and personal growth. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Islamic educational environments or cultural sensitivity. Experience teaching diverse learners and integrating inclusive practices. Proficiency in technology-based teaching tools and platforms.
