State Salary Schedule + [10.5% - 18% local supplement]
Position Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' understanding, appreciation, and creative expression in the visual arts through the implementation of district-approved curriculum and engaging artistic experiences. To cultivate students' artistic techniques, creativity, craftsmanship, and visual literacy while fostering knowledge of artistic processes, aesthetics, art history, and a variety of artistic styles, media, cultures, and periods. The teacher will provide a safe and supportive learning environment, document student growth and instructional outcomes, and communicate student progress, expectations, and goals with students, parents, and administration. Minimum Degree Level :

Alternative Licensed Pathways:
If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.
Qualifications:
