Lower School Art Teacher (Part Time), 2026-2027 School Year The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful part-time art teacher for students in Pre-K through Grade 5 in the Lower School Division. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of pedagogy and instructional practices in elementary art education and demonstrate enthusiasm for encouraging creativity and artistic expression. We seek an energetic and progressive educator who is eager to collaborate with multiple grade levels. Minimum Qualifications:

All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school's vision, mission, and core values of Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community, and Sustainability. Demonstrated success in developing and delivering a comprehensive lower school visual arts curriculum with a global perspective is desired. Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field and a minimum of two years teaching experience required. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience working with a range of artistic media and integrating art with other subject areas is beneficial.

Structure of Working Hours/Days:

Working hours (15 hrs/week) will fall within the school day (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Salary Range:
