Job Description

At Corning Christian Academy, we are committed to raising leaders by Biblically equipping students with faith, knowledge, and wisdom to advance the Kingdom of God. We provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures students academically, spiritually, and creatively. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Art Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year . This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who loves Jesus, values Christian education, and desires to inspire students through the visual arts. The Part-Time Art Teacher will inspire students to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and appreciate the beauty of God's creation through the visual arts. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with students in a supportive Christian school environment. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for students in assigned grade levels. Introduce a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and styles. Foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression in students. Create a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment. Display and celebrate student artwork throughout the school year. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Participate in school events, programs, and art-related activities as appropriate. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian education. Bachelors Degree (required), in Art, Art Education, Education or a related field preferred. Passion for working with children and helping students develop their artistic abilities. Experience teaching art or working in an educational setting preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff. Teaching certification is not required. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
