Job Description

Our Art Teacher will create engaging, age-appropriate, hands-on experiences that allow students to explore different artistic techniques, build confidence, and express their creativity. Duties Implement comprehensive art curriculum tailored to different age groups (K-12). Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate various art techniques, media, and tools to enhance student learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively through strong classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Mentor students by providing individualized support, tutoring, and guidance to foster their artistic skills and confidence. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance. Engage with parents and guardians through effective communication skills to discuss student progress and behavioral concerns. Skills Classroom experience preferred, but not required. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent writing skills for lesson planning, curriculum documentation, and communication with parents. Strong communication skills essential for collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students' families. Requirements Bachelors Degree All candidates must be willing and eligible to complete and pass a required background check and any other applicable screening requirements.
