Principal Centrally located in the middle of Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Central Catholic (CCC) is a Diocesan owned and operated, co-educational, comprehensive school for students in grades 9 through 12. With an enrollment of about 450 students, CCC is large enough to provide ample opportunities for student activities while also being small enough for each student to be known by name. The school offers a wide variety of activities that provide our students with ways to develop their faith, enhance their curricular and interpersonal skills, and form life-long relationships. Cleveland Central Catholic was formed by the merger of four Roman Catholic Cleveland high schools - St. John Cantius, Lourdes Central, St. Michael the Archangel, and St. Stanislaus. CCC's first year of operation was the 1969-70 scholastic year. Cleveland Central Catholic High School is seeking a full time Art teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities Include:
Instruct students in art (5-6 classes per day) Supervisory period if teaching 5 classes Work closely with special education teachers to provide for the learning needs of all students Prepare engaging lessons and units that promote skills, knowledge, and critical thinking consistent with course outcomes Work collaboratively with staff for the good of students and the school. Create an atmosphere in which students feel safe and welcomed. Communicate regular feedback about student progress; maintain open and timely communication with parents. Stay current with classroom technology applications and regularly incorporate them into lesson plans. Actively supervise students at all times.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have a degree in art Teaching license or approved non-tax license Candidate must also be able to pass FBI and BCI background checks and complete the Diocese of Cleveland VIRTUS program. Experience teaching high school students (Preferred).
