Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Kids Art Instructor to ignite young minds through the joy of visual and performing arts. In this role, you will design and deliver dynamic art classes tailored to children's developmental stages, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and artistic growth. Your passion for arts education will help nurture a love for the arts while developing essential skills in our students. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum that introduces fundamental art techniques and creative expression for children of various ages. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, positive behavior, and active participation among students. Teach a variety of arts including drawing, painting, sculpture, dance, theater, music, photography, sewing, culinary arts, and more. Incorporate choreography, dance instruction, musical instruments, and theater activities into lessons to enhance performing arts skills. Plan age-appropriate lessons that support childhood development milestones such as fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and self-discipline. Use effective behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and encourage continued artistic exploration at home. Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or recreational settings. Strong background in teaching visual arts or performing arts such as dance, theater, music or photography. Expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood or preschool learners. Classroom management skills that promote a positive learning environment. Knowledge of choreography, dance instruction, musical instruments, sewing or culinary arts is highly desirable. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate creativity with developmental appropriateness. Excellent communication skills for working with students of diverse backgrounds and their families. Pay:
