To Be Determined Job Description The State College Area School District is accepting applications for a predictable term substitute (PTS) Elementary Art Teacher to begin at the start of the school year and run through approximately January 18, 2027. The successful candidate will be one who inspires students to explore, create, and express themselves through a variety of artistic media. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons that build artistic skills while connecting to broader themes of culture, history, and community. This teacher will foster a classroom environment that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and confidence in every young artist. Experience with diverse materials and a commitment to integrating art across the curriculum are highly valued. The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuring every student has opportunities to grow, thrive, and fulfill their potential through caring, responsive education.
