Art Teacher

Cordovan Art School is seeking art instructors/teacher in NW Austin to teach art classes and camps. Traditionally trained artist able to teach acrylic, watercolor, pastels, drawing, and ceramics to children and teenagers. Requirements for teachers : Must be available to teach a class Saturday mornings. Instructors MUST be skilled in traditional painting and drawing. Knowledge of multiple art mediums Cheerful, positive personality...A MUST! Must be able to communicate well with people Previous teaching experience with children preferred Experience in Oil Painting and/or Low Fire Clay is a plus Experience in Wheel Throwing is a plus Must be able to to teach a class of 12 students alone, or a class of 18 students with an assistant. Must be available during the morning or afternoon.
