The Art Space is looking for a talented, enthusiastic Potter to join our creative team! In this role, you will guide customers through pottery wheel throwing, hand-building, or glazing experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for an artist looking for a flexible schedule and a direct tie between their hard work and their paycheck. Responsibilities Lead engaging, step-by-step pottery sessions or workshops for individuals and groups. Assist customers of all skill levels with wheel throwing, centering, shaping, and trimming techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment during and after sessions. Prepare clay, reclaim scraps, and help manage studio equipment as needed. Provide an exceptional, welcoming customer experience that keeps guests coming back.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience with pottery wheel throwing and ceramic arts (portfolio or examples of work preferred).
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to teach and entertain groups of customers.
Reliability:
Punctual, organized, and comfortable managing a studio schedule.
Flexibility:
Available to work peak customer hours, including weekends and evenings.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Structure:
Commission-based pay calculated per customer hosted. The more guests you teach, the more you earn!
