Job Description

Upper Elementary/Middle School Spanish Teacher:

Hilltop Montessori School in Birmingham, AL is looking for a Part Time Spanish Teacher for 2026-2027 school year for grades 4th-7th. This part-time position would require in-person teaching 2-3 days per week, for a minimum of 6 hours per week. Hilltop Montessori School is an AMS, SAIS, and COGNIA accredited Montessori School established in 1996. We are located outside of Birmingham, AL in the township of Mt. Laurel. Position Details:

Fluency in Spanish language, preferably a native speaker Experience working with children/students Knowledge and interest in the culture of Spanish-speaking countries/regions Comfortable using technology in order to enhance the learning experience Curriculum/guidance/support is available and provided High School Diploma (or equivalent) required Bachelors Degree (preferred) Montessori classroom experience is a plus Ability to lift 50 pounds (ability to move classroom materials, etc.) Authorized for employment in the U.S. Please feel free to contact us via Indeed or email hms@hilltopmontessori.com with questions about, or interest in this position.
