Job Description

Develop and submit curriculum maps, pacing guides, and complete lesson plans that align to the ADE's requirements and Mexicayotl Academy's dual-language and Intercultural model as per the schedule stated by the Principal using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Submit complete quarterly grades to the registrar as scheduled for every subject taught reflective of every student's current academic performance. using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Administer all assessments/evaluations to guide instruction using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Administer the school adopted Math, Reading (English and Spanish) placement assessments throughout the year as required to monitor academic achievement and guide instruction using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Comply with all in-services, professional development, training, and staff and parent meeting requirements using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Participate in on-going reviews of the Exit Outcomes, Pacing Guides and the adopted instructional programs as part of the instructional team using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Develop a student check out process that will allow accountability for the level/classroom library throughout the school year using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. The education/research and experience requirements for this position are a Bachelors Degree's degree in Education, or equivalent and 2 years of experience as a Teacher. In addition, using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is required to be able to perform the responsibilities of the position, as reflected below, and are common to the occupation.
