SUMMARY A
Teacher in the Tucson Unified School District Two-Way Dual Language Program advances student achievement through effective management of the learning environment, including preparing lesson plans, evaluating, and monitoring student performance and progress in alignment with the 90/10 immersion model. Our teachers provide effective and equitable instruction to students in various planned courses to address both content and language learning goals. Our Teachers demonstrate a solid commitment to continuous learning and understand and appreciate diversity; they collaboratively develop instructional strategies that encourage students to analyze and interpret class material. Grades Kindergarten- 3rd OR Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 with Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish) Arizona Early Childhood Certificate, Birth to Age-8 with Spanish Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish) Grades 4th
- 8th Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 with Spanish Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish) Grades 9th
- 12th Arizona Secondary Certificate with Spanish Bilingual Endorsement (Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish) Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunizationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
