Teaching Responsibilities Teach separate first-grade beginner and advanced Mandarin classes . Prepare and follow a clear, age-appropriate weekly teaching plan . Adjust lessons to meet the different learning levels of beginner and advanced students. Make Mandarin learning enjoyable through songs, games, storytelling, movement, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities. Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and Chinese culture. Monitor student progress and provide feedback when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and presentable classroom. Clean and tidy the classroom after students leave. Qualifications and Requirements Native Mandarin speaker with strong communication skills. At least three years of teaching experience , preferably with school-age children. Experience teaching preschool or elementary school students is highly preferred. Able to independently develop organized and engaging lesson plans. Creative and enthusiastic, with strong classroom-management skills. Able to make lessons fun, interactive, and appropriate for young learners. Art, music, or creative education experience is a strong plus. Dependable, patient, caring, flexible, and responsible. Comfortable managing groups of children with different learning abilities. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be comfortable driving a school van to pick up students from local schools when needed. Must be flexible with working hours. Occasionally, the teacher may need to start earlier or stay later based on program needs. Interview Process Interviews will be scheduled after we receive and review the applicant's résumé. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is excited to bring Mandarin language, creativity, and Chinese culture into the classroom.
