Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment for students, guiding their development, and implementing effective teaching strategies. This position requires a strong foundation in early childhood education and the ability to engage with children of diverse backgrounds and needs. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional methods and engage students. Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support the individual needs of each child. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques. Provide support for children with special needs, including those requiring behavioral health interventions or speech therapy. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and progress reports. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications Speak Chinese 18 units in Early Childhood Education. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health strategies and special education practices is a plus. Ability to implement effective behavior management techniques within the classroom. Experience using learning technology to facilitate instruction is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students, including those with diverse learning needs such as deaf education.
