- Possession of a valid California Multiple Subject credential with 24 Child Development or Early Childhood units
- Appropriate Bilingual or BCLAD authorization, or equivalent
- Native or native-like Spanish speaker
- A minimum of three (3) years of public-school experience as an elementary teacher preferred
