Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive Mandarin Chinese lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating various teaching tools and learning technology platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS). Adapt instructional approaches to accommodate different learning styles and meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements. Design, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin Chinese. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment. Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instruction and support individual progress. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional modifications to enhance overall educational quality. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement to foster strong home-school partnerships. Skills Proven experience in classroom teaching of elementary school students, including classroom management and curriculum implementation. Strong knowledge of Mandarin Chinese language instruction, literacy education, math integration, and standardized testing preparation. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning technology tools, and educational compliance regulations. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or special education needs. Ability to adapt lessons based on different learning styles and provide instructional modifications as needed. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and Montessori or private school educational frameworks is a plus.
