We serve more than 670 students from Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. Our 40-acre campus is home to a college preparatory curriculum, a competitive interscholastic athletic program, a highly regarded performing arts program, and an array of co-curricular opportunities. Position Summary The Spanish Instructor delivers standards-aligned instruction across five sections of Spanish coursework, ranging from Spanish I through AP Spanish Language and Culture, including Honors and Native-level offerings. The instructor designs engaging lessons, assesses student learning, and provides targeted support to meet all learners' needs. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues, administration, and families to maintain curricular alignment, monitor student progress, and foster a positive, academically focused classroom environment. Essential Responsibilities and Duties The essential responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: The teaching load consists of five sections of Spanish courses. Assignments may include Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, their respective Honors and Native offerings along with Spanish IV and AP Spanish Language and Culture. Assignments will be based on department needs and candidate's experience Delivering high quality instruction and contributing to a coherent, standards aligned World Language program. This includes designing and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student learning, and providing targeted support to meet the needs of all students The instructor will collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment across courses, support student growth through clear and consistent expectations, and contribute to a positive and academically focused classroom environment Maintains and supports an environment that is conducive to learning Advises a small group of students Collaborates effectively with administration, faculty, staff, students, and families Monitors student learning and achievement Communicate with other stakeholders regarding student academic successes and concerns, as appropriate Performance will be measured by Complete, thorough and successful completion of assigned tasks by deadlines established Classroom visits and formal observations by Assistant Principal and Principal Proactive and consistent communication to necessary parties including internal staff, parents, students, coaches, volunteers, and other constituencies' Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines Ability to collaborate with a team and lead students Ability to embrace, support, and enhance the mission, goals, and values of Justin-Siena Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Principal and Assistant Principal Position hours: Exempt - 10
Month Employee Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. The range of compensation is between: $62,352 - $113,577. The selected candidate must pass a pre-employment background check.
