In person About Us Global Lingual Academy is a vibrant, multilingual learning center that inspires children to explore languages and cultures through hands-on activities, music, movement, games, and creative projects. We are seeking an enthusiastic Spanish teacher to lead engaging Saturday classes for young children. Position Overview The Part-Time Spanish Teacher will lead two small-group classes on Saturday mornings: 9:00-9:45
AM:
Parent & Me Spanish class for young children and their caregivers 10:00 AM-12:00
PM:
Beginner Spanish class for children ages 4-7 Classes are designed to be fun, interactive, and highly engaging, using music, movement, games, stories, crafts, and hands-on activities to introduce children to Spanish in a positive and playful environment. The teacher will be responsible for preparing materials, setting up and cleaning up the classroom, and creating a warm, welcoming experience for children and families. Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons Lead music, movement, games, stories, and hands-on activities Create a playful and supportive environment that encourages children to participate and use Spanish Teach beginner Spanish vocabulary and conversational phrases through interactive activities Engage parents and children during the Parent & Me class Prepare classroom materials before class and clean up afterward Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment Communicate with the director regarding student progress or needs Participate in occasional special events as needed (paid) Qualifications Fluent in Spanish Previous experience working with children, preferably in a teaching, preschool, enrichment, or classroom setting Comfortable teaching young children through play, music, movement, and interactive activities Energetic, creative, patient, and enthusiastic Strong classroom management and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Passionate about sharing the Spanish language and culture with children and families If you love working with children and sharing your passion for the Spanish language and culture, we would love to hear from you!
