  • Saint Andrew Academy Job Overview Saint Andrew Academy is seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher for the upcoming school year to teach middle school students in grades 7-12.
The ideal candidate will foster a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures while building students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish in a supportive, faith-based academic environment. Key Responsibilities Teach Spanish to 7th-12th grade students using the school's approved curriculum. Develop engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition through conversation, reading, writing, listening, and interactive activities. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that supports student growth and participation. Collaborate with faculty and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency preferred). Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred, especially with middle school students. Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, World Languages, or a related field preferred. No teaching credential required. Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
