10‑month position | 7:50am-3:50pm The Target Language Interventionist provides in‑class, small‑group, and one‑on‑one support to students learning French or Spanish. This role focuses on increasing ACTFL proficiency through immersive, language‑rich instruction and targeted intervention aligned with classroom instruction and MTSS structures. Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted language intervention to support listening, speaking, reading, and writing Use immersive strategies (visuals, gestures, contextual learning) to build comprehension and confidence Collaborate with classroom teachers, coaches, and specialists to align intervention with core instruction Use formative and summative assessments to design and monitor intervention cycles Support Units of Inquiry and integrate PYP language and practices Communicate regularly with families regarding language progress and goals Maintain organized records, data tracking, and required documentation Participate in school‑wide routines, meetings, and professional development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field Fluency in English and French or English and Spanish (required) Elementary world‑language teaching experience preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and data‑driven instruction skills Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student‑centered learning Click here to view the full job description and complete list of responsibilities.
