Job Description

Founded in 1930, The Tatnall School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school situated on a pastoral, 110-acre campus in Greenville, Delaware, near Wilmington. Tatnall includes four academic divisions with 500 students from age 2 through grade 12. Our challenging academic curriculum and programs, combined with award-winning faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, create an environment that promotes the joyful pursuit of excellence. Tatnall is seeking a dynamic and passionate Upper School Spanish teacher with the ability to teach Spanish from the beginner to advanced levels. The ideal candidate brings deep content knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for teaching and connecting with students. They will foster a welcoming, inclusive, and intellectually engaging student-centered classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach 3 sections of
Spanish A Tatnall Teacher:
Demonstrates a student-centered approach to education Designs and implements engaging lessons that develop critical thinking and real-world connections Builds strong relationships with students and creates a supportive and positive classroom environment Provides clear, timely feedback to support student growth Shares a commitment for diversity, equity, and community through culturally responsive and identity-affirming practices Works closely and collegially with students, faculty, administrators, and parents in a lively independent school setting.
