Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum for students ages 3 to 11 years old
- Prepare engaging and interactive classroom activities to promote language learning
- Provide instruction in French language and culture, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their language skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Utilize learning technologies to enhance language instruction
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in French or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proficiency in written and spoken French
- Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
- Strong classroom management skills, including behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies for teaching French as a second language
