Job Description

Rockdale County Public Schools is currently looking for a high school Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements:
Preferred candidate will hold a teaching certificate for Spanish issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and have ALREADY passed the GACE in the required field. Consideration will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree in the field who are enrolled or willing to enroll in a program leading to certification. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for Spanish language education. Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment. Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback. Utilize effective communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff. Mentor students in literacy education and support their academic growth. Incorporate learning technology to enhance instructional delivery.
