St. Margaret Mary is a large and growing parish school. This teacher will work in collaboration with another Spanish Teacher, the Special Area Team, and a variety of classroom teachers to meet students' needs. The teacher will travel to a variety of classrooms at levels from PreK-5 to deliver lessons. Duties Design and implement Spanish language lessons tailored to various learning styles and student needs Utilize educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement Manage classroom environments through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Assess student performance data regularly to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt instruction accordingly Support students' social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and inclusive teaching practices Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and foster a supportive learning community Qualifications Proven experience in classroom teaching of Spanish Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods Experience working with children at multiple age and ability levels Skills in positive classroom management and behavior management Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators Preferred candidates will be certified for working toward teacher certification.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
