Company Overview Academy of Our Lady was established in 2007. It is an all-girls Catholic School located on the Westbank. Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our team at the Academy of Our Lady. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the minds of young learners and contributing to their educational journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Provide academic advising and support to students to enhance their educational experience. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to foster a positive learning environment. Assess student performance through standardized testing and other evaluation methods. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies. Encourage critical thinking and creativity in students through innovative teaching methods. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Spanish; teaching certification preferred. Proven experience working with high school students in an educational setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design principles. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
