We're seeking a committed educator who excels in both General Education and ESL instruction for a full-time, contract opportunity serving diverse student populations. This role spans the academic year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027, allowing you to inspire learners and foster growth every day alongside dedicated colleagues. Your expertise will help guide students in their academic and language development. As part of your responsibilities, you'll work according to the local school calendar, supporting multiple schools as assigned, and your adaptability will be key as caseload details are determined. Key Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana Department of Education certification (no Temporary Authority to Teach licenses permitted) Background in General Education and ESL teaching Ability to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing, including district-required drug screening and fingerprinting Flexibility with multi-school assignments and evolving caseloads Commitment to full-time hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily Strong organizational and communication skills
