The responsibilities of this role include: teaching four 50-minute classes daily designing instruction that motivates students to practice speaking the target language with their classmates assessing student work using rubrics close collaboration with colleagues, and co-leading an Advisory Successful applicants will be able to: facilitate their classes using 95% Spanish have an understanding of proficiency-based language instruction and the Ten Common Principles, and familiarize themselves with Parker through the website before applying (www.theparkerschool.org) MA licensure and/or completion of a teacher training program strongly preferred but not required; all candidates must pass both the subject area and literacy MTEL exams; master's degree is preferred; citizenship, residency or work visa is required.
