Part Time Spanish Teacher The Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor is seeking a Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Grades 5-7) for the 2026-27 school year. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan across two campuses, our school offers a comprehensive Waldorf education serving a diverse community of students. Our Lower School Campus spans 12 wooded and grassy acres and serves Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, with a current enrollment of approximately 160 students. We provide a rich, engaging Waldorf curriculum that includes world languages (Spanish and German), handwork, visual arts, strings and orchestra, singing, movement/games, and gardening. We are seeking a Part-Time Spanish Teacher to lead engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for students in Grades 5-7. The ideal candidate will create a lively, immersive classroom environment that fosters both language acquisition and cultural appreciation, in alignment with Waldorf pedagogy.Responsibilities include:
Teaching Spanish to Grades 5-7 in afternoon classes, four days per week Creating dynamic, age-appropriate lessons rooted in Waldorf principles Collaborating with class teachers and fellow faculty members Fostering a joyful and inclusive learning environmentQualifications:
Experience teaching Spanish to Elementary or Middle School students Interest in or familiarity with Waldorf education Enthusiasm for working with Middle School students in a collaborative environment Strong communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's Degree Ideal:
Passed the MTCC (Michigan Test for Teacher Certification) forSpanish Position Details:
