Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education and Spanish Active Michigan teaching license Previous teaching experience in a middle school setting is highly valued Ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons for grades 68 Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for inspiring students to connect with new languages and cultures

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver dynamic Spanish curriculum to diverse groups of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders Create an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and excitement about language learning Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans as needed Collaborate with school staff, administration, and parents to support each students journey Participate in school-related activities and professional development opportunities Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies This is a full-time contract position starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 17, 2027.
