A Bilingual, ESL, or Language Teacher teaches foreign languages to students in elementary to secondary schools. This includes English as a second language. Common foreign languages which are taught are Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, German, Dutch, Russian, Mandarin, and Arabic.

Position Overview :
The Teacher in Residency (TIR) is an aspiring educator participating in a structured, hands-on training program designed to develop effective teaching practices under the guidance of an experienced mentor teacher. The residency blends classroom immersion with professional learning, preparing candidates to transition into full-time lead teaching roles.
