This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping them explore Spanish through conversation, games, music, and interactive activities in a hands-on, engaging way. The right candidate will: Enjoy working with children ages 6-12 and appreciate their energy, curiosity, and creativity Have experience teaching Spanish or leading language-based activities with elementary-aged students (formally or informally) Be confident planning lessons that build vocabulary, conversational skills, and cultural awareness Be collaborative, organized, and excited to work as part of a larger educational team Bring a playful, encouraging, and student-centered approach to language learning In this role, you'll: Design and lead weekly Spanish lessons for mixed-age groups (1st-3rd and 4th-6th grades) Incorporate a variety of engaging language experiences including songs, games, storytelling, movement, and conversation practice Foster a love of language and cultural curiosity through immersive and interactive teaching Collaborate with classroom teachers to complement the broader curriculum when appropriate
