Qualifications:

Valid NYSED Certification in Spanish 7-12 Recent fingerprint clearance through the NYS Department of Education (mandatory for all new hires) Experience teaching in a high school or general education environment is highly desirable Ability to develop engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Spanish instruction to high school students in accordance with curriculum guidelines Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Design assignments, assessments, and projects that encourage active participation and language application Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Engage with parents, guardians, and staff to support student achievement Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities This contract teaching role offers a fulfilling way to impact the next generation while sharing your language expertise.
