Job Description

Spanish Faculty Oakwood Friends School, an independent Quaker, college-preparatory, coeducational, boarding and day school serving approximately 160 students in grades 6-12, is seeking either a full-time or part-time Upper School Spanish Language Instructor. Candidate must be an enthusiastic, warm, and hardworking individual who has a strong desire to work collaboratively within a close-knit boarding and day school community. The faculty's primary teaching responsibilities will include a variety of levels of secondary Spanish language from Level One through IV. 12-month on-campus housing available. Oakwood Friends, founded in 1796, is the oldest co-educational boarding and day school in New York currently serving students grades 6th-12th. Located in Poughkeepsie NY, Oakwood's diverse learning community consists of students from over 10 countries, multiple states and the local Hudson Valley region.
