Job Description:

The Arts and Humanities Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to grow our adjunct pool. Candidates are needed to teach the following courses either on campus, online, and/or live online (Synchronous Teams) beginning Spring 2027: ASL 121 American Sign Language 1 ASL 122 American Sign Language 2

Requirements:

Master's Degree in American Sign Language (or a closely related field) and/or native signer. Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally underrepresented in higher education.

Additional Information:

Finalists for adjunct positions are contacted for interviews. Level A - $665/credit hour Level B - $785/credit hour after teaching 6 semesters at Jefferson.
