Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher, providing critical language support to K-12 students across multiple buildings in a vibrant district near Newark, OH. What we're looking for: Valid Ohio certification to teach English as a Second Language Experience or aptitude for working with K-12 students in an ESL or general education capacity Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to support learners of varied backgrounds Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between school sites Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs Excellent oral and written communication skills Key responsibilities: Deliver engaging ESL instruction across general education settings for K-12 students Travel to various buildings within the district to provide direct support and consultation Assess student progress and adjust interventions to maximize language acquisition Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure students' academic integration Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines Build positive relationships with students and families, encouraging ongoing engagement This contract role offers the flexibility to work four days per week while expanding your impact as a specialist supporting multilingual learners.
