Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role supporting student growth as a Wilson Certified Teacher in a welcoming educational environment near Kingston, PA. In this full-time onsite position, you will work closely with students experiencing reading challenges, including dyslexia, and play a pivotal role in their academic journey. Your expertise will help guide students toward improved literacy skills and greater classroom confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted instruction using the Wilson Reading System to students with reading disorders such as dyslexia. Assess individual student needs, tailor lesson plans, and track progress to ensure effective learning outcomes. Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student engagement and success. Maintain a nurturing and structured classroom environment that fosters student growth. Provide interventions and accommodations based on each student's unique learning profile.
What You'll Need:
Active Wilson Level I Certification is required. Certified teacher background (General Education, ESL, or related teaching experience highly preferred). Prior experience working with students with reading difficulties is strongly valued. Strong understanding of dyslexia and evidence-based reading interventions. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
