Job Description

The Agape School is seeking a loving, energetic, patient, and dependable Bilingual 2-Year-Old Toddler Teacher (Spanish/English) to join our early childhood education team. We are looking for an educator who loves working with toddlers and can naturally incorporate both Spanish and English into the children's daily learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for 2-year-old children. Incorporate Spanish and English throughout the day through conversations, songs, stories, games, and classroom routines. Implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons using our Learning Beyond Paper curriculum. Support children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. Encourage independence through daily routines, including handwashing, mealtimes, transitions, and toilet learning. Lead hands-on activities including art, music, movement, sensory play, STEAM activities, reading, and outdoor play. Assist with diapering and toilet learning while following proper health and sanitation procedures. Actively supervise and engage with children throughout the entire day. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom. Communicate positively and professionally with parents and families. Provide daily updates and photos through ProCare. Work collaboratively with co-teachers, administrators, and other team members. Follow all school policies and Pennsylvania childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Fluent or highly proficient in both Spanish and English. Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred. CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus. Patient, nurturing, energetic, dependable, and professional. Must be comfortable with diapering and supporting children through toilet learning. Must meet all Pennsylvania childcare licensing and background clearance requirements.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for more than someone who simply speaks Spanish. We want a teacher who is excited to bring the Spanish language into the classroom and create natural opportunities for our toddlers to hear, understand, and begin using Spanish throughout their day. The ideal candidate understands that 2-year-olds need patience, consistency, structure, creativity, and lots of love. You should enjoy getting down on the floor to play, singing songs, reading stories, providing hands-on learning experiences, and helping toddlers navigate big emotions while developing confidence and independence. Why Join The Agape School? At The Agape School, you will be part of a supportive and growing school community committed to providing children with high-quality early learning experiences. We value educators who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children. If you are a passionate bilingual educator with a special love for toddlers, we would love to meet you! Apply today to join The Agape School family!
