Full-Time Job Summary EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate American Sign Language Teacher (ASL) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Key Responsibilities Provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services during classroom instruction and school activities. Support students with hearing impairments by facilitating effective communication in academic settings. Interpret spoken communication into ASL and interpret ASL back into spoken English accurately. Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure students receive appropriate classroom support. Assist students in participating fully in classroom discussions, group activities, and school events. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with students and school personnel. Support an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse communication needs. Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and training sessions when required. Qualifications Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL). Certification in ASL Interpretation preferred. Previous school-based experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
