Position Overview:

Father John V. Doyle School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Foreign Language Teacher to join our faculty. This position may be full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's availability and the school's needs. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in French, Italian, Latin, or Spanish . The ideal candidate will have experience teaching students across a range of grade levels (PK-8) and a passion for fostering language acquisition in a supportive, faith-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate foreign language instruction for students in PK through Grade 8 Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and confidence Integrate cultural components to enrich language learning Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide initiatives and student success Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; degree in Education or related field preferred Prior teaching experience with elementary and/or middle school students (PK-8) Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Faith & Mission Alignment:

A practicing Catholic who upholds the teachings and expectations of the Catholic Church or a Non-Catholic candidate who demonstrates respect for and willingness to support the mission and teachings of the Catholic faith

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or an advanced degree in a foreign language or education Experience teaching multiple grade levels Familiarity with standards-based instruction and assessment
