Job Description
Spanish Special Area Teacher The ideal candidate would demonstrate knowledge of the special subject area. He or she would establish and maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment, and maintain a positive attitude toward the children, parents, and co-workers during and after the school day. The part-time Spanish teacher is responsible for using the provided curriculum as a guide to plan lessons for all age groups while following the Montessori way of meeting each child at his or her developmental level. The teacher is responsible for maintaining order in the classroom and preparing materials as needed to support lessons in the classroom. A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in the subject taught is preferred but not required.
