Spanish Foreign Language Instructor UTA CE Arlington, TX Job Details Contract $25 - $35 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Curriculum development Instructor experience High school diploma or GED Computer skills Spanish Adult language education Full Job Description Overview The Continuing Education Department at The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking an experienced and engaging Spanish Instructor to teach non-credit Spanish language courses for adult learners. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about language education and can create an interactive, supportive learning environment for students with varying levels of Spanish proficiency. Courses may include Beginner, Intermediate, Conversational Spanish, Total Immersion, Culture in Practice, Spanish for Professionals, Spanish for Healthcare, Spanish for Customer Service, and customized workforce training programs. Teach Spanish language courses to adult learners in classroom, online, or hybrid formats. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with course objectives. Facilitate speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain attendance records and course documentation as required. Collaborate with Continuing Education staff on course scheduling and curriculum enhancements. Incorporate real-world cultural and workplace applications into instruction. Experience Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken). Prior teaching, training, tutoring, or instructional experience. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Proficiency with instructional technology and virtual teaching platforms.

Pay:
