Teacher Position Overview 6th-12th Grade P.E. Teachers will be responsible for providing high quality, mission-aligned instruction in their physical education classes. Key skills include careful planning, clear communication, practical wisdom, classroom leadership, strong organization, and the ability to establish a classroom environment characterized by joy, respect, order, wonder, and deep engagement. PE classes should be marked by engagement and challenge for all and a culture of kindness and encouragement. Students should come to each PE class prepared to work hard, get stronger and more skilled, encourage each other along the way, and grow in healthy confidence in themselves and friendship with others through shared striving for excellence. Ideal candidates will possess a background in strength and conditioning or a CSCS certification.
